How to improvise on your page ranking

Hi Friends,
It's been long, we tried something new, so you have a question which even I
have, and off lately we have started playing on the SEO, learning a few tricks
and implementing.
So here is the question which I have seen mostly we ask
and mostly people search especially the beginners like me.
“What is Page Ranking, Google Ranking, and how to improvise SEO scores”
So before i begin with what i have learnt, let’s understand what page ranking
is
“Page rank, is a ranking system from Google, this ranking system is any point from 1 to 10, in which 10 means the best by Google. A new domain (recently purchased) will usually have N/a or 0 points. So page ranking is all about links, backlinks to your site, which you can check yourself from various tools available, one such tool which I found was this SMALL SEO TOOLS."
So let’s not wait and start what all you need to do. This is again purely based on what i did to climb the ladder over the years, there may be something else that may exist but that’s something you need to check.
1. Content is the king.
Update it regularly. Yes, you will have to update your contents with minor
changes frequently, this helps. When you regularly update your contents its
taken to be the best indicators of a site’s relevancy, so be sure to keep it
fresh.

Publish relevant and good content.
Again quality of content you put on the page is also very important factor.
Quality content created specifically for your intended user increases site
traffic, which improves your site’s authority and relevance. Think twice again
while you write contents, don't copy use your own content.
Think about a keyword that best suits your page for eg: "Website developer in
Mumbai, India" will go for Mahalasa. Now repeat this several times in your
content, this would create a keyword cloud and help you gain popularity. Never
forget to use maximum bold etc.
Also remember don’t over do this, and become a spammer.
3. MetaData.
Metatags are the important factors of good SEO. You can use a tool like this
to
generate your metadata in case if you are new here else you can happily
build what you want. Metadata is also a very important factor this tags are
usually placed between the <head> and <body> tag.
Title Metadata
Title metadata is responsible for the page titles displayed at the top of a
browser window. It is the most important metadata on your page. For those with a
CMS website, the web team has developed an automated system for creating the
meta title for each webpage.
Description Metadata
Description metadata is the textual description that a browser will use in
your page search return. Think of it as your site’s window display—a concise and
appealing description of what is contained within, with the goal of encouraging
people to enter.
Keyword Metadata
Keyword metadata are the search phrases that people type when they want to
find your page. You’ll want to include a variety of phrases. However, don’t get
greedy: if your list becomes excessive, the browser may completely ignore the
data. As a general rule, try to keep it to about 6-8 phrases with each phrase
consisting of 1-4 words. A great example would be "computer science degree."
4. Have
lots of links
You should have a site wth lots of links, but hey wait one page shouldn't be
having more than 100links. Focus on creating relevant links within the text.
Instead of having “click here” links, try writing out the name of the
destination. “Click here” has no search engine value beyond the attached URL,
whereas “Michigan Tech Enterprise Program” is rich with keywords and will
improve your search engine rankings as well as the ranking of the page you are
linking to.
5. Use
ALT tags
Always describe your visual and videos, so that search engine knows what the
picture is for. Alternative text description helps the search engine to throw
the right things when a user does the search.
